Rabbits and pocket pet in these impound centers could have only a few days to live!! If you are interested in a pet from one of these impound centers, go down ASAP. Some impound centers are unable to hold pets beyond their available date due to space or policy issues.
To find a impound center in CA, click on the links below. If you are not in the Los Angeles area, contact your local animal care and control center. There are often rabbits and other small pets available. It's a horrible cycle, people do not know that these pets are at shelters, so no one adopts, so they are euthanized, so the shelter staff thinks no one wants to adopt them, so they don't advertise them. These pets are in shelters and they need your help. Please check local shelters before pet stores and breeders.
